CREATING SAFE CULTURES THAT INFLUENCE
MEET THE FOUNDER OF VETSQUARED INNOVET – DR. LARRY VAN NIEKERK
With extensive experience in private veterinary practise as a general practitioner and specialist veterinarian, it is clear that the lack of non-clinical leadership skills contributes to the high levels of anxiety and stress in the profession.
In today’s climate and the advancement of technology, the influence of social media and doctor Google, the veterinary leadership has come under enormous pressure.
To address this, I started to delve into why I do what I do and how I can improve my resilience and be more productive. This led to the journey of understanding who I am, reducing conflict and became emotionally appropriate.
I am now a certified Emotional Fitness Coach and am completing my Master Practitioner of Coaching with the Coaching Institute of Australia, I have developed a comprehensive program to aid veterinary leaders to become resilient by learning how to stay emotionally healthy, deepen their understanding of the veterinary business and strengthen their communication skills.
I work with individuals, teams, and business leaders in the veterinary business, to create psychologically safer environments by improving emotional and financial fitness so that they can take care of themselves, their families, and their business.
Don’t expect Larry to tell you how to change. Expect to be shown how to help yourself.
I would highly recommend Dr. Larry and his services to any new grads
